I'm not sure if you've heard or not, but UC Berkeley has made a deal with BP to join together to work on alternative fuels. Now, to me, this sounds like an awesome idea that everybody can get on board with. But no. Apparently some students and teachers at the acclaimed university are against this measure.
I pose a question to those of you against this merger: What the HELL do you want? If you believe that our current state of transportation is such that it is polluting the environment badly enough to matter (which I don't, but that's not the point), then why are you against an initiative that will seek to stifle the amount of emissions from said transportation?
I'm reminded of one reason that I quit going to college. Some people I will never even begin to understand (other than women) are liberal college students and professors. If anyone has any insight into what is going on here, please let me know.

My four years of college taught me tree-hugging hippies who just want world peace are to peaceful to take action, so many of their earth friendly ideas dont gain enough momentum to promote change. When those few feasible ideas for change do get momentum,(BP and Berleley working for alternative fuel)they are met by the opposing ideas of overanalytical professors and ignorant liberals. Its a shitty situation, some people dont look at the facts and understand what is best for everyone as a whole.

Wow, thanks for the insight.
Well basically what happens is most liberals are too spineless to actually act, and the few that are will to do what is necessary are hampered by the stupidity of conservative majority america.

Keep up the good work.
